Your comfort is very important to me. Most clients are pleasantly surprised by how little discomfort they feel. I explain everything as we go, check in frequently and can adapt the approach to suit you.

As with any treatment, there can be side effects. The most common ones seen with wrinkle relaxation relate to the injection site. You may find some small bruises, mild swelling or tenderness which settle quickly. A headache is reported to affect 9% of patients and drooping of the upper eyelid (ptosis) affects 1%. Some patients have also reported influenza type symptoms which settle within a day or two.

You won’t see results immediately but you should start to see a difference within two days and the maxiumum effect within 4 weeks of injection. The results can last for up to 4 months. You will need follow-up treatments if you want to maintain these results.

There is no need for any recovery period however it is best to avoid strenuous exercise on the day of your treatment. If you experience any rare side effects sur as muscle weakness or visual distubances you should not drive or use machinery until such effects have cleared.
In the days that follow your treatment, keep well hydrated and keep your skin healthy by using sunscreen and moisturising regularly. You can avoid alcohol as this can cause dehydration and smoking, as this has been shown to lead to premature skin aging.
Bio-Spicules and Exosomes - ID Clínica
This is the treatment that goes further. The skin channels are opened using the natural needles found in marine sponges (no actual needles involved!). This stiumlates your skin to regenerate and repair. When combined with Exosome treatment your skin will receive all the signals from within to encourage cell turnover and renewal! This treatment is fantastic for all skin types and just brilliant for acne. We recommend a course of 3 treatments followed by a maintenance regime.

The skin may appear slightly flushed and feel warm or tight for a short period. Mild dryness or light flaking can occur in the days following treatment as the skin renews.
It is important to keep the skin well hydrated, avoid active skincare products for a few days and apply broad-spectrum SPF daily. Direct sun exposure, heat treatments and exfoliation should be avoided until the skin has fully settled.
